2026

  • October 2026- Congratulations to Yutong her papers accepted by Molecular Neurodegeneration!! 

​

  • September 2026- The Qi lab has been awarded a new NIH R01 grant (R01AG099057) to study mitochondrial RNA metabolism in Parkinson's disease. 

​

  • August 2026- The Qi Lab has been awarded a new NIH multi-PI R01 grant (R01AG099323) to investigate the therapeutic potential of semaglutide in Alzheimer’s disease. This collaborative project is led jointly with Professor Rong Xu from the Center for AI Drug Discovery at Case Western Reserve University. We look forward to another productive and exciting collaboration!

  • July 2026- The Qi Lab has been awarded a CDMRP research grant to develop small-molecule mitochondrial enhancers for the treatment of ALS.

​

  • July 2026- Jack is awarded "Presidential Travel Award" in the 2026 International Research Conference on Neurodegenerative Diseases (IRCND). Congratulations!! 🎉
